Dr. Chen is a full, tenured professor in the Mathematics Department. He has been on the faculty of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor since 1989. He is a member of Mathematical Association of America and American Statistical Association. Dr. Chen teaches courses in mathematics and statistics. He is also a sponsor for the Texas Kappa chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon. His research interests include discriminant analysis and mathematical statistics. Dr. Chen is married to Ping L. Chen, and they are parents of Dustin, Aaron, and Ethan.
