Dr. Beckendorf joined the faculty of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2007. Previously, she completed an NIH Fellowship in Behavioral Pharmacology at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center, and an NIH Fellowship in Toxicology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Beckendorf is married to Richard Beckendorf. They have two children, Andrew and Georgiana. She enjoys watching Andrew play baseball and listening to Georgiana play the piano. Dr. Beckendorf teaches Sunday School at Temple First Church of the Nazarene. In her spare time, she likes to garden. Dr. Beckendorf goes by the nickname "Tina".
