Facilities

The Department has spacious, modern laboratories.  Separate labs are available for (1) Freshman and Pre-Nursing Courses, (2) Biochemistry, (3)  Instrumental Analysis, (4) Organic Chemistry, (5) Physical Chemistry, (6) Quantiative Analysis, and (7) Research.  Classrooms in the Wells Science and Nursing Hall, and the York Science Center are equipped for electronic instruction.

Through an outstanding collection of well maintained instruments, the Department allows students to become proficient in operation of the following analytical instruments.

1.  Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer

2.  Fourier Transform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer

3.  Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer with Temperature Controller

4.  Mass Spectrometer
