Career Advising

With a Chemistry degree there are opportunities for employment in medicine, education, government, and industry.  You can prepare for a career in the following Health Professions with a degree in Chemistry:  Cllinical Lab Science, Dentistry, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and others.   Department faculty members are available to assist you in preparing an effective application for the career of your choice.  Our Student Career Services Department under the leadership of Mr. Don Owens can also assist you with job placement.  Shadowing opportunities within the local medical and industrial communities are also offered (some for course credit) when available.
