Nothing thrills me like teaching students who are motivated to learn.  That’s why I enjoy teaching at UMHB so much—the students are working hard to improve their lives and pursue their interests!  I started at UMHB as an adjunct professor, teaching Conversational Chinese.  (I lived and worked in the People’s Republic of China for over ten years)  Now, I’m teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to our international students who would like to pursue a degree at an American University.  Before coming to UMHB, I spent several years teaching French at the high school level and ESL in China at a wide variety of levels.  My interests include working with horses, learning and teaching languages, and continuing to learn as much as I can in whatever I do.  I have been married for 25 years to my wonderful husband, Greg.  We have three sons and one daughter—two of whom are still living at home and two are students at Baylor.  We worship at Temple Bible Church.
