Bio

Veronique Dupont is a native from France, more particularly Dijon, Burgundy. She studied at the University of Texas in Austin majoring in Education, ESOL and languages (French and Spanish). She obtained her master degree at Texas State University specializing in Education, French literature and linguistics and has been teaching for the past 20 years French, Spanish and ESOL. Her area of expertise is French surrealism poetry from the end of the 19th century. She is also interested in French cinematography , filming and cultural diversity. She lives in Austin, has 3 bilingual daughters and she is the wife of a scientist. Besides teaching, she enjoys activities such as hiking, biking, cooking (recipes from around the world), travelling and oil painting. She is a member of St Teresa’s Church in Austin, Texas.
