Kevin Chappell Receives Research Travel Grant.

Kevin Chappell is a junior from Midlothian, TX and was awarded one of this year’s Research Travel Awards. Kevin has developed an inquiry based genetics activity for use in elementary schools. He is working with Drs. Cat Early and Kaleb Heinrich in the Biology Department and will be presenting his project at this year’s Texas Academy of Science meeting in Junction, TX. Kevin’s emphasis is Cell Biology, he is heavily involved in research and outreach in the Biology Department, and he is on the Dean’s Honor Roll.
