The Bachelor of Christian Ministry (BCM) with a concentration in Christian Missions prepares students for a life of sharing the gospel in cross-cultural and diverse settings. A variety of ministry classes are offered in our College of Christian Studies with specific courses relating to the history and methodology of missions, cross-cultural ministry, discipleship and evangelism, and the like. Each one of our Christian Ministry students is required to do a 3-semester hour supervised ministry practicum. This intership opportunity provides hands-on experience in a ministry setting. Summer missions' internships are among the potential internship options. Further ministry opportunities are available throughout the year.
The Christian Missions Concentration requires 15 semester hours of Christian ministry courses from a selection of courses for Christian Missions in addition to those ministry courses, Christian Studies Foundation courses, Biblical Studies electives, Christian Studies electives that are taken in the Christian Ministry program portion. Furthermore, our Christian Ministry students must complete one year of study in a biblical language of their choice, Hebrew or Greek.
